The Bankside More in Common group (Organised by Living Bankside) is made up of stakeholders across Bankside, Borough and SE1. It exists to bring our community together. The group endeavours to run projects and events, build local networks and promote support of one another to build stronger, more connected communities.

The Bankside More In Common Group is part of The More in Common Network (organised by Jo Cox Foundation) which is a collection of groups across the UK working to promote Jo Cox's powerful "more in common" message in their communities.

ABOUT THE MORE IN COMMON GROUP

​

The More In Common Group endeavours to coordinate and deliver with partners and local stakeholders a number of events (including The Great Get Together) and activities  across the North West of Southwark and Waterloo to promote community cohesion in the immediate, medium and long term.

The More in Common Group endeavours to achieve the above by: 

 

1. Providing easy to access information on the events and activities available to people and residents in the area of benefit. 

2. Promoting partnership working on events, activities and projects which promote community cohesion within the area of benefit.

3. Providing a communications interface across all parties to keep all stakeholders abreast of the activity.
